I created a binary for the sm1000 hardware. This is in response to David's
comment about fixing a bug. Anyway, here's the resulting download.
sm1000 build

To install it, you need the DFU utility.
$ sudo dfu-util -d 0483:df11 -c 1 -i 0 -a 0 -s 0x08000000 -D sm1000.bin
I just did functional tests, needs deeper testing I'm sure.
