1. I haven't built the code for a while so codec2-dev may not be up to
date for the SM1000. Try searching this mailing list for previous SVN
revisions that built OK. A few days ago Steve posted some new SM1000
images.
2. If it is a pure PSTN line with either analog or just a mu-law or
a-law codec in the path then the FDMDV modem should work. If there are
any speech codecs in the path (e.g. to any mobile phone) then it is a
much tougher problem.
