[Freetel-codec2] [bug report for freedv-1.3.1] freedv failsto build with codec2-0.8: no member named 'sync_metric' in 'MODEM_STATS'

freedv-1.3.1 expects the field 'sync_metric' in 'MODEM_STATS' defined in 
codec2-0.8 that doesn't exist.
