[FreeTrade] mysql_close(...) absence??? WHY?

Hi,

I'm   curious   about   the   absence of mysql_close(...) in freetrade. How
freetrade dis-connect the current mysql connection??

and
Why   Coupon   Code  is necessary while check out?, i didn't show such
feature in other shopping cart?
