Actually, what I had in mind was a small block of color to for each color
definition. Since the clothing on our site comes in cryptic color names like
"periwinkle", "shale", and "sahara", I wanted to have a stack of colored
blocks of the available colors for that item. Ideally, only the colors that
are defined (in the variations listed in the "add SKU" window) for that item
would show.
Many of the items of clothing share the same selection of colors so the
color swatches should work for all the items. "Lilac", for instance, is a
color choice for several items so each of those items should be able to
share the graphic for the lilac swatch. Hope this makes sense.
