OK, I know you said on a non-production box, but WHOA is that a security
violation!  =) You should suggest people download and then run the install
script (so they can look it over first).  Ideally you should be able to
download all the installation files prior to the install.

Running a shell script off the net (and as ROOT!) is not something you want
people to get in the habit of...

(I'm not suggesting that Kent isn't trustworthy, but it's just a bad idea
to run unknown scripts as root.)
