Dear List,
I would like to remove the inventory control and replace it with an
availability control. The majority of the items will be available for
download. The items that will need to be shipped, the client would like to
have an indication like:
ships in 1-3 days,
ships in 3-5 days,
out of print,
backordered,
available for download
Before I start editing the many places the inventory table is referenced, I
am wondering if it makes more sense it simply set a positive inventory for
each sku and turn off the code that later subtracts from the inventory.
Then, add the availability field to the sku table.
