Hi Leon,

more random thoughts:

1) One thing FreeTrade needs is a paint job. By that I mean, the FT "site"
looks muy ugly.
Check out these 3 links, in order please ;-)

http://www.working-dogs.com/freetrade/

I think the lack of presentation turns lots of people away.

I am no designer, as much as I try. So, I can't help much here. Currently,
the FT site is straight HTML, will the new one be plain vanilla HTML, or
will you use the FreeEnergy framework?

It would be nice to have an actual FT logo.

2) I am willing to help with documentation. If everyone on this list
submitted one section to the documentation, we could have a great doc. for
developers. I am willing to create some documentation, and merge all the
docs together. Any volunteers for content?

3) Andrei Lemos de Almeida just submitted a link to his site. Andrei, did
you happen to translate the language file to Portuguese? If so, please
submit it to the project. I know that there is a site using FreeTrade with
French and they translated the language file. That's 3 languages to include
in the distro. Any more people on the list who are fluent in another
language? Please take some time to translate the language file.

4) I would like to start some list discussions on topics that are of
interest. We can use the group input to enhance the new site and
documentation.

Some potential topics:

Credit Card processing
Integrating with backend systems (Financials)
FT-friendly hosts
Optimizing FT
Adding Ad-management (PHP Ads perhaps?) and Mailing List capabilities

5) Leon, I haven't really had time to peruse FT 2. Can you give a brief
overview of the new release. What are the changes in design? Are you using
classes?

How much of a difference is there between FT 1 and 2? How hard would it be
to 'upgrade' from 1 to 2?
