My host is running 4.0.3pl1 and I get the double slashes too. It's
because APPLICATION_ROOT has a trailing slash and then when it is
used a string like "/modules" is appended to it. RegEx is not my strong
suit so I'm not comfortable changing the setting of
APPLICATION_ROOT, but if someone could help me out, I'd really
appreciate it. (and I"ll add it to the FAQ) BTW the double slashes does
not seem to affect the running of the store, because mine runs fine.
