We just ran across FreeTrade a while ago and are actually looking to bring
our first live site up today. It was develped on Red Hat linux but will
be depolyed on a Solaris that's scheduled to be upgraded back to Red Hat
shortly.

We're working on another site we hope to have live in March on Red Hat and
have done some Proof-of-Concept work on Red Hat, Mandrake and one site
hosted at www.webpipe.net (Linux).

The only issue we have found is that we are not really satisfied with
MySQL on the Solaris boxes (hence the upgrade to Linux). MySQL has been
rock-solid on Linux for us in the past.

We looked into a number of different packages/tools for creating
e-commerce sites and have found that FreeTrade offers an unsurpassed
combination of built in functions with a structure and organization that
makes customizing a breeze. Thanks Leon for a truly great effort!
