If it's a public box and you want to give me access, I'll get it all working
for you. I've done it so many times I can do it in my sleep now.

Thanks Steve for your input.

Basically, yes and I have tried several versions of install "how to's" .
In all
honesty I did get everything installed correctly once and had FreeTrade in
place and
because I was having problem getting access to some images, I tried to
modify some
permissions to get it to work and don't remember now the exact details, but
the next
time I tried to reboot, I could never get Gnome to ever start again and I
didn't
know enough to know how to fix it or frankly even what to guess at as being
wrong.
Started all over again several times and was never able to finish. I think
a big
problem in learning Linux is not knowing how to clean up and do a fresh
start. Same
problems that all newbies have, just not enough knowledge of 'things in
general'.
Appreciate your inquiry, thanks again.
