Add a special 3.0 check. A future 2.7 may work out-of-the-box, 3.0 does
not.

My Core Duo with 1.7GHz can handle your test 1080p videos. I only have
some problems with the gfx card. Since you are talking about standard
definition, I guess "Core Duo 1.7 Ghz" or "pre-core architecture 2.8
GHz" would be ok.
