Hey guys, I had a thought; basically, when we record, say, via the cron script record_daemon.py, it should create a file called /var/cache/freevo/record (as an example) and it should contain filename currently being recorded.
i.e. /var/cache/freevo/record --- /media/mymovie.mpg Then, when you click "Watch TV" we check if this file exists, and if it does, we pass that file to mplayer rather than loading the TV guide since the v4l device would be locked anyway.
