Almost done... I am so tired. Everything is almost setup again but I am having a stupid audio problem. My audio drivers (trident, ac97) load fine, I get a device, adio apps run fine like there is nothing wrong but I get no sound!! There are no muted channels. I tried alsa but things kept segfaulting. Okay, I am back in action. My sound problem seems to be comming from something that has changed in the kernel since 2.4.20, which I am using again and everything is fine. Sound was also fine with 2.4.21-rc7-ac1 so that means either there was a change before rc7 that was reverted by ac1 or a change was made between rc7 and rc8. I will be looking into that later.
Now back to your regularly scheduled runtime. :)
