Sorry about that. Afaik the xmms wrapper
was dropped because the lack of a maintainer. I
may be wrong here. Generally we try to use tools
that do not limit freevo to X11 which is one of
the reasons why mplayer is the player used for
almost anything at the moment.

I browsed the source. It should be really easy
to add this to freevo. We would only have to
add some ioctls for tuning. Unfortunately my
TV card does not provide /dev/radio so it would
be kind of hard to develop without having access
to hardware to test it. Which tv card do you
have? Also how does audio get out of it (to
your soundcard) when using this tuner?

This shouldn't be hard to do. Piping a scripts
output onto the screen may be a little tricky.
Most of the other tools necessary are already
there. Perhaps you want to start by proposing
a file format for the xml files. This sounds
like a nice project to start on python and
freevo... ;-)
