For people who have been having problems with DirectFB/dfbmga in
mplayer in terms of "judder" and other problems during fast motion,
I'm curious if you've tried the matroxfb vsync irq patch.
I have.
I couldn't get it to apply but I'd like to see if that fixes the weird artifacts when playing movies with mplayer...
It applied cleanly for me on 2.4.22-pre8. I have always used this patch and I still get the judder. I haven't played with all of the buffered options yet though (single/double/tripple).
