Hi,

I have been working on a project of my own that uses MPlayer's bmovl
video filter, written by Per Wigren. I came across several limitations
of vf_bmovl, and making things work like I needed simply required too
many changes to vf_bmovl to modify.

So I have rewritten vf_bmovl (called bmovl2), borrowing heavily from
Per's work, but the design and function is considerably different.
Since bmovl was written with Freevo in mind, I'd certainly like to hear
input from the Freevo community about whether or not bmovl2 would
satisfy your needs as well. The rewrite is more flexible than the
original and, in certain cases, more efficient as well.

You can read about it here:

Cheers,
Jason.
