I read mplayer lists too and already forwarded your email to this list.

I saw no replies, but I'll work on that... by now we have only some
tests, but in future I plan to use our skin framework to render things
on the screen using BMOVL... probably we will not use that many
functions, maybe just fade in/out... but who knows! Now we don't have
any animation in freevo, so our XML files doesn't have any timing
support, but if someone like the idea, probably we will have this in
the future. Any cool animation idea?

Also, I'm glad to see you're trying to optimize things with MMX and
stuff! Really, thank you! One of the thing we don't use bmovl yet is
that it requires a powerful machine to SCALE + EXPAND + BMOVL... most
CPU is waste in SCALE, but every optimization helps!
