I know, personally, I will end up patching dvdbackup to use vobcopy
and perhaps encode with something else; I don't like the idea of my
DVD-ROM drive running for hours, after it's on the drive, it would be
straightforward to convert with mencoder; say using the 'menc2pass'
script in the mplayer source tree.
