True... though there will be warning if we change the default,  in the
sense that it will accompany a pretty significant release with lots of
other changes...  and the old behaviour will always be available for 
those who want it. 

Personally, I don't mind which is the default, as long as both options
are there I can configure things the way I'd like. I do admit the
left/right stuff and pgup/pgdown stuff is more intuitive the new way we're
talking about....
