Should be as it was. Except the intervall is now ms, not 10ms. I need more information what the problem is. BTW, I saw your note about pyLCD is blocking and you want to use threads. Be carefull with threads, but blocking is not good, everything else could go to hell if you block. In the future, no function call from main should take more than 200ms.
