I see that Freevo 1.7.x has an RSS downloader plugin for podcasts/vodcasts
etc. Are there similar plans under way for something that would just browse
RSS feeds and then stream the media? I'm thinking this would be
particularly useful for sites like YouTube and Google Video where RSS feeds
are made available of the most popular or highest rated content etc.. In
that case, you don't really want to download all top 100 videos, you just
want to browse the descriptions and thumbnails and then stream ones you're
interested in.
If no one's working on this, I'd be happy to. It would actually be rather
similar to a plug-in for Rhapsody I recently wrote.
