Hi,

seeing that freevo got accepted for SoC, a project that I would be
interested in doing would be creating a "true" version for Mac OS X,
i.e. an .app-bundle that contains all libraries and support files, so
that users can do a drag & drop installation.

An nice extension of this would be the inclusion of Mac-specific
functionality, like using the Apple Remote to navigate menus or
reading the locations of iTunes and iPhoto media.

Any thoughts on that?

I searched through the archives a bit, but there is not much to find
on previous attempts to do this. Any suggestions why that might be?
Just noone with interest and time to do so, or might there be
technical problems (OS-specific code or such)?

Thank you for your input.

Marcus
