Also, there is already kaa.beacon etc. Right. With Freevo 2.0 you could browse all discs you have ever inserted. Kaa.beacon will cache that data for future use; the default is only to search on media currently in the drive, but you could also search for all files on all discs. But that does not help if you want to have more metadata like an fxd provides. In that case kaa.beacon or Freevo 2.0 also lacks some special support. E.g. it would be nice to view a list of all my DVDs in Freevo. But it is unlikely you will insert all discs into Freevo just to let kaa.beacon know them.
