Yes, adjusting the AA with nvidia-settings will improve the jagged edges and any aliasing inside the video texture (most noticeable with text). > did you see when using compiz? Yes, that's one problem I saw as well, with an existing comp mgr, CompositeRedirectManual won't work, so you'll see both windows. Also, with compiz running, I was unable to stop video tearing (even with sync to vblank enabled with compiz). > And yes my cpu is low (just slightly higher than plain xv but not as > high as gl). Thanks for the info Jason. Very helpful. Good to know, thanks for testing. :) Cheers, Jason. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Freevo-devel mailing list Freevo-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freevo-devel
