Hmm,
Which version of .tar.gz and which version of the runtime RPM?
freevo-runtime-4.01-pre2.i386.rpm should be identical to the runtime in the 1.3.2-pre2.tar.gz binaries. If they're not identical, please let me
these are the ones I've used.
the bak directory contains the version from the RPM, the other from the tar files:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1148916 Mar 3 20:39 bak/libc.so.6
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1205236 Mar 4 11:27 libc.so.6
know where they differ, I'd need to fix the RPMs. (This shouldn't happen though as I just copy the dlls from the binary tar.gz during the RPM build.
BTW: this did not solve the problem after all... So I am still stuck.

whoops cheered to quickly. When I ran the recond command manually it worked but when trying to reconrd something from the daemon I still get:
sh: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: version `GLIBC_2.1.1' not found (required by ./runtime/dll/libc.so.6)
sh: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: version `GLIBC_2.2' not found (required by ./runtime/dll/libc.so.6)

Taking the runtime/dll directory from the tar.gz solved the problem for me. Apparently the files are different in the RPM.

Right, so I believe I have located the problem. Now all I need is the solution.
I have the same problem since upgrading to runtime4.
Are you using the binary .tar.gz release? If not, please try that (1.3.2-pre2), they should be completely self contained.
