A.P.- I was running the epg_xmltv.py from the command line. I guess I'll have to try the cvs.
All- BTTV question: using xawtv I have to fine-tune each channel quite a bit. kwintv is just screwed up, no fine tuning there. Does freevo offer any fine-tuning? or is this a kernel tuner module problem and I should try some others? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Aubin Paul Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2003 11:58 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Freevo-users] epg_xmltv.py error Regarding the first problem, you need to run epg_xmltv.py on the command-line if you have an empty TV_CHANNELS, it'll generate a list from the TV listings. As for the second problem, you can try the latest CVS which explicitly skips over missing stop dates, though since I started using tv_sort, it hasn't happened. The only situation I can think of is TV listings at the very end of the guide (i.e. shows beginning at 11 but ending afterwards) cannot be fixed by tv_sort, since xmltv doesn't know when they end. The best bet is to try a snapshot of CVS where the 'stop' bug is fixed as well as running epg_xmltv.py from the command line via 'freevo execute' On Thu, Mar 20, 2003 at 10:23:08PM -0600, K.
