I built my home made serial Lirc receiver last night (UPS finally delivered the parts). I've been an electronics hobbyist for years, but I have never had so much fun building such a simple project. It was a blast soldering everything together into a really nice looking setup. I have to say, I've never taken as much time as I did last night wiring everything up into a nice looking design (usually it's functionality/time over looks). I'll post pics later.
As I've said before, if you need a Lirc receiver then build your own. ~Rob ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: ObjectStore.
