Really? What does your .xinitrc file look like for

exec twm& ??

Hi Alan,

Yep, basically:

kylie root # more .xinitrc
/opt/freevo/freevo

How do you tell it start in fullscreen mode? (I still
have to get X to display on my TV monitor, but it'll
be useful to know this for when I do get it going!)

I'm using a Geforce 4Ti and just have this in the XF86config file:

Section "Monitor"

Identifier "telly"
HorizSync 30-50
VertRefresh 60
Option "TVStandard" "PAL-B"
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"
Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
EndSection

When you startx the nvidia splash screen appears on the TV and then after a brief greyscreen/X mouse cursor freevo loads in glorious fullscreen. The rest is all just the standard nv driver stuff. I'm using Gentoo.

Hope this helps, if you need any other info let me know.
Paul
