INcidendally, does anyone know if it's at all possible to get an accelerated framebuffer, or at least one that supports 768x576, with a newer GeForce? I'm staying with X11 for the moment but it's always nice to find alternatives..

It helped me tremendously to have already had the knowlede to run mplayer in
vesa & framebuffer mode too! Hope this helps!
