that sounds good! TV_CHANNELS wasn't defined and so didn't match my tv.xml.
is "./freevo execute src/tv/epg_xmltv.py config" supposed to write to the console? there wasn't an output and i didn't find a new file! it just says at the end: Getting the TV Guide, this can take a couple of minutes...
