When in the favorites menu, if you try to change the priority level nothing seems to happen. No errors just no changing in priorites.

What you need to do after you download the new xmltv and put it in place as tv.xml. run the command:
cd /usr/local/freevo ; ./freevo execute src/tv/record_client.py updateFavoritesSchedule

Does the favorites actually work right now? When I add a favorite, it schedules everything that is on the tv_guide but when I download the new tv_guide (via xmltv), it doesn't seem to pick-up the favorites. Is there a way to systematically run the favorites, to search for new programs?
