Hi,
I've got two problems
1. When recording television the sound encoded by mencoder is very
tin-y/brassy.
I'm using btaudio and passing in the analog device as the audio
parameter?(adevice=/dev/dsp2)
Is this a problem of btaudio? Is it the audio encoding method I am
using? Does using OSS drivers and using the mixer to record the line-in
give better sound? (Does anyone have this working, and find the quality
ok?)
2. The recording never ends.
At the scheduled show stop time the program disappears from the
Recording schedule, but the MEncoder process lives on.
Is this supposed to happen, is this a TODO feature? or is it a special
feature of my computer?
I've found a flag for MEncoder(-endpos) which lets you specify for how
long you wish to record, but how do I get freevo to pass information to
the VCR_CMD string?
I'd appreciate any help or idea's regarding either problem
Thanks
