Hi all,
I am new to the freevo movement, but I am excited! I have been working on
it all week, and I am down to a couple of problems that I just can't figure out.
So far, I have Freevo installed. I can watch TV and DVD's. I also have the web
interface running. However, the one thing that is giving me the hardest time is
the Program Guide.
I am using XMLTV to get the information. I have edited my configuration files,
and the correct TV stations appear in the correct order. However, every time
I try to generate a program guide, I get the dreaded "This channel has no data
loaded."
I started out using XMLTV version 0.5.16, and I then proceeded to upgrade to veresion 0.5.17. Still no luck.
I have scoured the older messages, and tried all the different scripts people
have posted. I have also followed a couple of well written webpages about
setting up a Freevo. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work.
Everything seems to be working as it should. The files generated by XMLTV have the descriptions in them, and the link to /tmp/TV.??? is fine.
I am at the office, or I would send a snippet of the files to get you opinions.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I might be able to try?
