I downloaded the full 12MB freevo-1.3.4 rpm. I have found several things
that I have had to work through that weren't intuitive, but now I am
perplexed. I can't get the freevo to record from TV. I have fixed the
record_daemon.py bug that is in the FAQ, I have muddled my way through the
xmltv setup... and things almost work.
The problem is that when I try to schedule the tv to record a show and
then look in the freevo logs, I see that -tv on: is no longer supported in
mencoder. It says to use -tv:// . I am using the mencoder included with
freevo, by linking it to /usr/local/bin.
How can I get this problem fixed so that my freevo can record from TV?
