Don't quote me on it, but I *think* I set mine up as just a "CD" drive entry, 
with the correct scsi drive device, and a mount point.

If not, then I would've done it using autofs to automount on demand. (I 
auto-mount a lot of things for my media box - remote Windows shares, etc... 
Very useful...)

Either way, it's quite easy to set up, and works well, even for playing movies 
off USB flash drives.
