I have freevo+linux installed in 60 meg of space, eventually to be loaded into a ram drive partition. freevo and it's assorted items and only samba are running.. everything else is turned off (or just not there in my custom linux setup for this machine)
it's working great without a swap partition, and I simply did not figure that freevo wanted some freespace when running.... oops! -----Original Message----- From: Dirk Meyer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 1:24 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Freevo-users] Re: freevo failure mode... You should _never_ use one partition for everything. Not only Freevo needs free space in /tmp and /var.
