So does mine, but it would be nice to know that that initialization is
correct =)

I think they do assume that you have a TV when you buy these cards.
Unfortunately they also assume that you'll use it under Windows or Mac,
where they have tuned the drivers to give out a nice TV signal... :)
Would it be possible to activate TV-out in f.x. WinDVD and then read the
cards settings?
