1.) The Changelog says xmms support was broken at 1.3.1. Is it still broken? If not, how dows one turn it on
2.) Is there any was to use xine for playback instead of mplayer? Xine seems to support more of my files than MPlayer does.
3.) Does the reading of .m3u lists/generating random playlists have to be so unbelievably slow? I realize this is because Freevo reads the ID3 tags out of every file when it builds the list, but XMMS seems to handle this by using the filename and then reading the ID3 tag on access. Why not just do that? Would using xmms as one's player fix this, or not?
