Still broken. We switched to the plugin design in 1.3.1 and noone ported the xmms plugin to it.

Might take a crack at it myself, time permitting. Plugin architecture seems straightforward.
You need the cvs version of xine to use xine as audio player. Than add
plugin.activate('audio.xine') to your local_conf.py
