Rob: mencoder is from MPlayer 0.90-4. I tried making the changes to the VCR_CMD in local_conf.py but just wound up with syntax error's. I would also mention that checking the corrected version in the CVS the "-tv on " option remains in place with tv:// added the line above. Not sure if this is causing the syntax error. Reverted to using the VCR_CMD from freevo_config.py as a default. The record server starts but I am in the same situation as before. Should I be looking at a newer version of MPlayer?
