Hi again,
Hi.
I've a small question. After i recompiled my stuff to get rid of the runtime package it seems that i can't get any display anymore with mplayer 0.92. It gives me this error: Can't get CRTC2 layer - Not supported! Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device. Any clues, i use mplayer with -vo dfbmga:nospic nothing else. Freevo starts ok tho so dfb should be working correctly.
I am guessing that mplayer 0.92 is too old to support the directfb you built.
I've compiled everything from scratch, sdl directfb mplayer tvtime xmltv and python so there can't be any library probs now :) And if i don't use primary-layer=02 in directfbrc i don't get the Unsupported pixelformat error. Otherwise it's the same just wanna let u know since it was on the list before.
I also couldn't use mode and depth (or whatever). Also with mplayer if you don't use primary-layer=02 (which you won't, for SDL) you will have to specify layer=2 and/or crtc2 in your dfbmga options.
P.S. i tried mplayer 1.0pre3 but it fails to compile so i couldn't try it with that one but i doubt if it works.
It works for me. :P You should really be using a newer mplayer anyhow, it will be worth sorting that out. Good luck!
