Thanks. That very nearly helps. It would definitely help if I had a
clue. It looks like using btaudio would be preferable, but it is not yet
compatible with mplayer or mencoder. That leaves me with the cable
running from the audio out on the TV card to my LINE_IN. What I get
from the instructions is that I need to run a script to turn the sound
on before I start recording and another to turn it off when I'm done.
This is where I get a little lost. The example scripts that are
available don't appear to actually be scripts (don't start with #!...)
so I don't know how it use them. There is a record script, but I don't
know how it implement it. Is this compatible with the new
record_server, or does this date back to the daemon?
Just when I thought I was getting the hang of this....:-)
