in fact my problem was due to the fact that what ever mode you choose (fbdev, x11, vesa, etc...), SDL will choose the screenmode he wants... so for me, it chose svgalib mode, that's why it swapped the resolution. I recompiled SDL with only support for fbcon, and all is ok. I use vidix for mplayer and xine and its work marvelously... playing dvd only takes 50% of my Celeron 700 and playing 720x576 divx 5 takes around 40%... it's exellent :) ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
