i don't know if this is the way it's meant to be done, but try running ./freevo schedulefavorites it seems to me that the the tv listings are only automatically scanned for matching favorite's when you first add the favorite. After that, if you want it to search for any favorites in more recent listings, ./freevo schedulefavorites needs to be run.
