I thought maybe I should mention my hardware config :) Currently using an Nvidia Geforce 4 MX440, Intel 2.4 Hyper Threading 800 Bus, running on 865 Intel chipset. I have a Wintv PVR-250, 2 Sata 80 gig Seagate drives and 512megs of ram. I'm using the nvidia binary driver, 4363 but I've tried a bunch of versions and the open source driver but none of that makes any difference. The Kernel is 2.6.3 but I had the same problem with 2.4.25 so I don't think that's the problem. The distribution is Gentoo and I'm using the current CVS version of Freevo.
