I did not found that directory but it seems that freevo or python (i don't really know) is not looking for pygoom.so in the good directory so i copied the library in the runtime directory of freevo install, so the lib is found but ... i got that message :
Pygame Parachute Traceback: Thread-0x801a2650 File "/home/perinaud/freevo/runtime/lib/python2.3/site-packages/mmpython/disc/discinfo.py", line 194, in cdrom_disc_status Thread-0x80167ea8 File "/home/perinaud/freevo/runtime/lib/python2.3/threading.py", line 204, in wait Thread-0x80015200 File "/home/perinaud/freevo/src/audio/plugins/mplayervis.py", line 30, in ? Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Segmentation Fault i guess the library is not enought. Is there a way to install good pygoom in another directory that the default one ? or maybe the CVS snapshot is currently broken. > Thsi is a long shot, but I could have something to do with mmpython? > > One problem with mmpython that I've, which might relate to this (as of > recently) was that a required directory in the Makefile doesn't download > form the cvs. This is very odd. > > I had to create the directory manually (./misc) and download the missing > files from sourceforge webcvs pages (__init__.py and xmlinfo.py). > > After that mmpython compiled, and I got the truly outragously satisfactory > vizualisations working fine. > /PS ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
