Have a play.... setup LTSP and compile your own kernels for the client computer.. I don't think that either LIRC or gamepads 'should' be difficult to get working.. or at least I can't think of a good reason for them not to work.
perhaps put something on the LTSP forum/mailing list.

Yes, I'd like to boot from ethernet, downloading kernel over wifi. Just =
as the ltsp works.. I know that ltsp supports inputs from mouse and =
keyboard, but I'm not too sure about lirc and gamepads..

Hi all,

Do someone got experience from using Freevo with thin clients, i.e. =
the LTSP project? I was thinking having a minor computer (harddiskless) =
at my TV and have it connected to my workstation in another room.

Basically, things that could be problems could be things like:
    - Loading the TV-driver used on the thin client.
    - Have Freevo accept Lirc input on the thin client.
    - Have Freevo recieve input from USB devices such as gamepads.

So, please if you have any input whatsoever, please share.

    Brgds,
    Magnus
