I thought "noinput" just disabled directfb's input subsystem within mplayer? From what I can tell, the problem is that with MPlayer's window focused, it is getting keystrokes and not Freevo. What you'd want to happen is for MPlayer to pass the keycodes via stdout so Freevo can respond to them instead, and control MPlayer via slave command if appropriate. I don't think there's a way to do this, but if there is I'd be curious to know. I asked on mplayer-users but didn't get a reply. Cheers, Jason.
