How did you install freevo? Did you download each rpm and install it manually?
I use Mandrake 10, and have urpmi configured with the media list produced at http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ Yesterday, all i did was type "urpmi freevo", and mandrake downloaded and installed everything it needed to run freevo. And then I type "freevo setup", to setup freevo. I suggest you uninstall everything related to freevo, and let urpmi do it for you.
